ROHR Corporation is pleased to announce the commissioning of our largest Clamshell Dredge for the extraction of sand and gravel to date.

Designed and built for United Rock Products of Irwindale, California, one of the country's largest gravel producers, this Twin 16.5 Cubic Yard Clamshell Dredge is equipped with ultrasmooth DC drive technology, patented twin two-way rake grizzly, ROHR QUADSCREEN material dewatering, 30"x55" on-board jaw crusher with vibrating feeder, 15 ton on-board service crane, twin fine sand recovery and 700 feet of 42" patented ROHR SWO Floating Conveyor. The dredge has been engineered to dig to a depth of 200 feet and will dramatically extend the life of the reserves.
